    2 X Olympian

    I have dedicated my life towards exploring my potential as an athlete. Having spent the last 25 years as professional runner, I have experienced the highs and low of elite sport. I’ve been to two Olympics but missed out on three with injuries. In navigating these, I have learned that our state of mind is our most valuable asset when it comes to enjoying the journey of pursuing our best. Since the 2016 Rio Olympics, I have worked closely with Rory to optimise my mindset and have had some of the best years of my career. I am passionate about working with people to experience their best and become who they want to become as a person and an athlete.

    PhD Candidate & Mental Skills Expert

    I’m a total geek when it comes to science of well-being and performance and love seeing people unlock their potential. In 2015, after completing my first degree in psychology, I began a research project looking at what it takes to optimise well-being and performance as an elite athlete. Following this, I commenced my PhD in the science of breathing for well-being and performance. All the while, I have been working with elite/olympic athletes and teams around the world to help them optimise their state of mind. I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Eloise on her mindset and also run alongside her in training everyday. Having experienced first-hand what elite marathon training involves, i’m excited to be a part of a community of people who want to unlock their ‘marathon state of mind’.

FAQs

  • Our mentorship is designed to provide ongoing support in a less structured, more personalised way than is possible in courses. Also, there’s no set ‘finish line’ with mentoring. We’re on your team for as long as you want us to be. Our courses, on the other hand, are a great way to learn key mental skills at your own pace and can set a good foundation for mentoring.

  • That’s completely up to you. We work in 3-month blocks at a time so that we can give you the commitment you deserve. At the end of each block you can choose to continue or pause. It’s your journey - we’re here for it when you want us to be.

  • You receive full access to our mental skills platform for the duration of your mentorship.
